Our story

We call ourselves The Nurses Miller because … because we share the same last name and a philosophy around evidence-based care, despite having no relation.

We met as team members supporting a large hospital system and found that together we are a dynamic duo! We have a passion for facilitating collaboration and evidence-based practice that builds trust, peace, and excitement in practice change. Our goal for building The Nurses Miller is to help unit leaders and bedside staff find trust and satisfaction that the care they give to patients is the safest care they can give.

Deidre is the neonate to Lacey’s birthing person, and the other way around. We are nurse leaders, mothers, practice nerds, and best buds. Together we are experts in neonatal and perinatal healthcare, with experience in professional practice leadership and advanced practice nursing roles.
